Brand & Logo Creation
One of my favorite parts of my job as a marketing coordinator is helping my agents with branding and marketing their business effectively. One of the ways I do this is by teaching them the effectiveness that a cohesive brand can have on their business as a real estate agent. If they can effectively brand and market themselves, they can more than adequately market their listings. Clients in today’s real estate market expect an agent well-versed in marketing their home on every platform and medium. Above is a final logo for one of my agents that I designed for them by using Adobe Illustrator.
Listing Videos
Being able to effectively market your home via social media reels and videos is perhaps one of the most cost-effective ways to get eyes from potential buyers on your listing. Many clients today expect real estate agents to be well-versed in marketing on every social media platform. I help agents in my office stay on top of their social media presence by helping them record content such as listing videos. These are all shot, edited, and directed by me, and show a glimpse into the home that is easily digestible on all short-form content platforms. For this particular listing, 3 Candlelight Ct, Smithtown, there was a very specific buyer we were looking for, as the home was built in 1910 and has many touches from those times. The major objective was to highlight the unique old-world charm that this home offers while also showing off all of the modern amenities.

For some homes, some features and rooms deserve more than 30 seconds of video. For Candlelight Ct, we wanted to focus our marketing efforts on making the central highlight of the home the stunning custom kitchen. The highlight of the kitchen is a beautiful custom sink with a marble slab that has an engraving of the build date of the home, “1910”. We asked the homeowner if she was comfortable being on camera, and she helped us create this great reel that showcased all of her favorite intricate details of this jaw-dropping kitchen. Here are screenshots showcasing views and like counts for both of those reels. Considering the size of Ashley’s following and the size of our office page, this did exceptionally well and her clients were so incredibly happy with the attention their home was getting on all the various platforms. These screenshots only show IG performance, these reels were also posted on FB, Tiktok and Youtube Shorts and did very well on those platforms as well.The home also sold in a very short amount of time for a home with this particular of a buyer.

Community Business Spotlights
One important part of our social media marketing at DGSIR is promoting our local community and highlighting local businesses. I love partnering with local Smithtown businesses and featuring them in our content. It's a win-win situation for everyone involved. The restaurant and our office page both grow in terms of followers, engagement, and reach from our collaboration. The featured restaurant or businesses receives some free marketing that highlights their business. Additionally, our office and agents are promoted as local experts in their local market area. Sometimes the restaurant or business is even nice enough to give us free food or discounts on their products which is an extra cherry on top. Below are some of the local business highlights I have done during my time at DGSIR Smithtown.

NYS Videos
Some of the most successful content I’ve done at my time at DGSIR came from promoting and highlighting some of the amazing things to do and places to go in the state of New York. The first video here was a reel that I made to showcase one of my favorite spots to unwind on Long Island - Robert Moses State Park. The video got over 4,000 views and 200 likes, which is a lot more than we usually get and almost 4x our follower count at the time. Using the right song at the right time + the reel being short and simple made it so that we got the reel out to a lot of viewers outside of our regular audience. The second video you see below is a short yet simple reel that I made after a weekend trip upstate to the Finger Lakes region of NY. Similar to the beach reel, it got over 3,000 views which got the reel out to a large audience outside of our regular sphere. Making this type of content and was a major reason for our follower count growing from ~500 when I joined in March of 2022 to almost 1,600 today.
