My first deep dive into the Advertising Industry was with the National Student Advertising Competition. Alongside 20 classmates I was tasked with the daunting process of doing painstakingly intensive research about the Ad Tech Industry for half the semester.

I spent my time after classes and homework interviewing many different advertising professionals, from entry level to VP’s about the state of the Ad Tech Industry and some pinpoints that arise.

The Client

The second half of the semester was strictly about Adobe. Specifically about The Adobe Experience Cloud For Advertising. Using the first half of the semester as a springboard along with the client’s detailed case study, we quickly formed a strategy and conceptualized a full-scale campaign for the product. This included a breakdown of our research findings, a conceptualized strategy, and a full synopsis of the campaign including rollout, budget, and advertising materials. All of which was neatly tied up into a plan book you can view below.

 

Who Cares About An Ad?

One of the highlights of the whole campaign and the overall NSAC experience was making a compelling brand manifesto. Using our findings, we wanted to boil down all the pain points and frustrations we found among Ad Tech industry professionals and wrap them neatly into a 60-second ad.
